3D laser scanning-

CRISP Engineering currently owns and operates terrestrial laser scanners for onsite scanning operations, the scanners owned/operated by CRISP engineering are Leica products and are generally viewed as best in category scanners.
Primarily used for scanning around plant and industrial settings the scanners are more than fast and accurate enough for most jobs, scanning can also be linked to site survey with the aid of a total station.
Scanning can also be done on architectural, commercial and civil sites.

This data can then be brought into specific software for analysis, this is common for tanks and sometimes beams, floors and walls.
This is also a common deliverable request for clients.

 

Design and draft –

CRISP Engineering has access to several programs to design, model and drafting required deliverables.
A specific skill set to CRISP is the ability to work within point clouds for accurately dimensioned fabrication drawings.
For example an entire piping run or platform can be modeled inside a point cloud and aligned for perfect bolt up with no need for field welds.

 

 

Stress analysis –

Stress analysis is used informally and formally to check a design that looks right is correct, such as pipe supports and spans and for certification requirements.
Stress analysis is also used regularly for items than need a prove or to improve designs such as leak seal clamps.
Stress analysis can be performed by CRISP on just about all fixed and mobile plant and equipment with certification, including AS1210 pressure vessels.

Leak seal clamps, line freezing, hot tapping –

CRISP Engineering also can provide leak seal clamps, line freezing and hot tapping services.
The leak or potential leak is measured manually and commonly 3D scanned as well for verification of measurements and visualisation.
Leak seal clamps can be done on all services and pressures and save massive resources and prevent continued environmental spillages.
